Tutors now have the ability to edit their published courses within an admin-defined duration. This approval-based system ensures that updates are seamless while maintaining course quality and accuracy.

New Features

Multi-Level Subject Category

The platform admin can create multiple sub-categories to streamline the subjects/languages/services offered on the platform. For example, a primary subject 'Mathematics' may have sub-categories such as Calculus, Geometry, and more.

Order Detail Download/Print Feature

This functionality enables admin and users to directly download or print order receipts under the dedicated dashboards from the order section.

Abusive Word Handling

Admin can easily manage the abusive comments on the platform by creating a directory of restricted words, providing a safe and respectful learning environment to users.

Subscription Module

With this new feature addition, the admin can easily create subscription packages for learners. Learners can choose to purchase these packages or opt for the standard checkout process. The feature can be activated or deactivated based on the business requirement.

Quiz Module

Make learning fun and interactive by offering quizzes on the platform. Easily add different types of questions, set a time limit, set limit on the number of attempts, and decide how quizzes are scored. Moreover, the quizzes can be linked to one-on-one sessions, group classes, and courses.

Payment Gateways

Pre-integrated region-specific payment gateways to ensure seamless payment processing for the users.

The following payment gateways are added:

M-Pesa: To facilitate global reach, M-Pesa a popular payment gateway has been pre-integrated allowing users to make smooth payments on the platform.

Payfast: Payfast integration enables users to seamlessly make payments on the platform. This payment gateway is popular for simplified payment processing.

12/24-Hour Time Format Changes

This functionality lets users choose between a 12-hour or 24-hour time format. Break the geographical barriers, provide convenience to users, and eliminate the confusion related to time while attending and booking sessions from different time zones.

MUX Integration

Enhance video delivery experience and playback capabilities with MUX integration, and provide users with high-quality and low-latency video experience.

• MUX ensures adaptive bitrate streaming, delivering seamless playback regardless of the user's internet speed or device.
• It manages a large number of simultaneous viewers, making it suitable for platforms with massive user traffic.

Note: This is introduced for the course's module on the platform.

Pencil Spaces Meeting Tool

With this pre-integrated meeting tool, offer interactive and engaging online sessions, and enhance the learning experience by leveraging in-built real-time drawing and other brainstorming tools.

Note: This won't be available for review on the demo link due to some known issues on their side.

Group Class/Package Manageability (Code Level Setting)

Effectively disable group classes/packages on the platform based on your business requirements with this code-level setting.

Note: The module can be disabled during the initial setup and re-enabled later. However, once enabled, it cannot be disabled again due to complexities related to orders and statistical data.

Enhancements

In addition to the new features, the following enhancements have been incorporated in this newly released version:

Proficiency Levels:

The admin can manage the spoken language proficiency levels on the platform under the preferences setting. However, earlier it was managed from the code level only.

Teacher Registration Form Updates

A few fields in the teacher registration form related to the end year in the experience tab have been updated.

Auto-Cancellation Settings

The pending order management is streamlined by enabling the admin to set the auto-cancellation duration for orders with pending payments from users.

Preview Option in Certificates Listing

The admin can now preview the certificates under the certificate management section in the admin dashboard. This functionality enhances user experience and satisfaction.

Minimum Wallet Recharge Setting

The management of the minimum wallet recharge limit is more streamlined now and can be availed under the admin settings.

Retain Unread Notifications When Admins Access User Profiles

With this enhancement, the unread messages and notifications remain unread when admins access user profiles through the admin dashboard.

Search Filters- User Dashboard

To streamline the payment process even more, a search filter for payment method types is added on the My Orders page under the user's dashboard.

Dropzone Integration

The file upload functionality has been enhanced by using the Dropzone.js. With this integration, large files can be uploaded by breaking them into manageable chunks, eventually reducing server timeouts. (Files larger than 500+ MB can be uploaded efficiently providing a stable user experience)

reCAPTCHA on Sign-up

To enhance security and prevent automated bot registration, reCAPTCHA on sign-up has been incorporated.

UI Enhancements

Enhancements are made to the formatting and content of existing emails. The online/offline session flag colors are modified for clearer differentiation.

Group Chat Update:

With this enhancement, users can now have a better context at a glance within the group chat as the sender's name is now displayed in the group chat.

Confirmation for Status Updates- Admin Dashboard

To avoid accidental changes to user statuses on the admin end and ensure intentional action, a confirmation prompt is displayed before updating the user status. This adds an extra layer of assurance, reducing the occurrence of errors during status updates.

Twitter-Related Updates

Updated outdated Twitter-related names and URLs across the platform to reflect the latest branding and API changes.

Stats Updates- Admin Dashboard

With this enhanced functionality, the admin can hover over the bars in the graph to view detailed statistics, such as exact values of lesson commissions, class commissions, and sign-ups in each month.

Export File Updates

To simplify calculations in the spreadsheets, we have removed the currency sign from the list in exported files in this latest version.

Sub-Admin Module Updates

The permission hierarchy for the manage permission module feature is adjusted.

• Super Admin can assign any sub-admin to Manage Permission Module Permission.
• Sub-Admins cannot assign the Manage Permission Module permission to other sub-admins, even if they were added by them or others.

New Features

Group Chats

The system generates a group chat when a teacher sets up a group class. The students are automatically included in this group chat after they purchase the class. This feature helps in enhancing collaboration via group chat.

Export Feature For All Modules Under Admin Dashboard

Admin can analyze and review reports for all modules under the admin dashboard. With this added functionality, it has become easy to export important data related to users, orders, sales, and more in CSV format.

New Admin Panel UX/UI Design

The overall design and look of the admin panel have been improved. With the current theme, the admin can easily access important information related to sales, revenue, orders, and more.

Help Desk

Users can easily access important information related to features or any module on the admin dashboard through notes available in the 'Help Desk'.

Offline Classes and Geo-Location

Enable offline sessions on your platform with this feature. By leveraging the geolocation functionality, easily set the default search radius, detect the learner's location, and suggest tutors within the specified radius.

2-Way Syncing- Google Calendar

With 2-way syncing Google Calendar functionality, enable users to synchronize Google Calendar with the platform's calendar. If any event is scheduled for a particular period, the platform's calendar will automatically be marked unavailable for the same time slot.

Refer and Earn Program

Market your platform effectively by leveraging the 'Refer and Earn Program' feature. Enable the users to refer the platform to potential prospects by sharing their referral links, simultaneously, earning rewards or discounts.

Affiliate Module

Leverage the advantage of affiliate marketing strategy by using the affiliate module. Enable users to register as affiliate on your platform and earn commission by sharing the personalized affiliate link to promote your platform.

Admin Earnings Report

Access earning reports in a separate table consisting of important information about sales, revenue, commissions, and other income sources for making informed business decisions.

UI/UX Improvements

To enhance user retention and satisfaction on the platform, various UX/UI and design enhancements have been successfully implemented.

Cancellation Fee to Teacher and Administrator

Initially, the admin was responsible for holding onto the portion of the cancellation fee that belonged to the teachers. However, with this enhancement, the admin can let teachers receive a percentage of refund when an order is canceled.

Zoom With and Without ISV

The Zoom meeting tool has been enhanced as per their updated requirements for ISV (Independent Software Vendors) partnership. With ISV agreement, partners can seamlessly integrate Zoom's video conferencing features without requiring the users to have separate Zoom accounts or leaving the partner's platform. Zoom's meeting and video features can be used right from within the platform.

New Features

Apple Login

This feature allows users to log in and sign up on the platform using an Apple account.

Admin Manageable Pricing

Using this feature, the admin can choose who can add the hourly price of teaching subjects on the platform, i.e., the admin or the teacher.

• If teachers manage the prices, the admin can set maximum and minimum price limits for each subject.
• The admin can also set the price if teachers have been disabled from setting the price for each subject.
• Subsequently, the price slabs have been removed.

Featured Teachers

The admin can mark the teachers as featured on the platform using this feature.

• Featured teachers are displayed at the top of the teacher listing and detail pages with a verified badge on the profile photo.

Tutor Online and Last Seen

The users will be able to view the activity of teachers (online and last seen) on the teacher listing page.

• The system will track the activity of teachers for 1 hour only. Their online and away status updates will be represented by two different symbols on the profile photo (listing and detail pages).
• The users can even filter online teachers.

Microsoft Translator Text API

The system supports multiple languages, so this feature will enable the auto-translation of:

• Labels, content blocks, and content pages in other languages under the Admin dashboard.
• Teacher Biography, Group Classes, and Packages content on the front end.

Lessonspace Recording Functionality

This feature enables auto-recording of the session, which users can replay in their dashboards

• There will be an action button, "PLAYBACK" to play the recorded sessions.
• The "PLAYBACK" action button will be available on the Lessons and Classes listing and detail/view pages.

SEO Updates

The system will auto-create the Meta Title, Keywords and Description, OG Image, and so on for SEO. However, the admin can still update and edit the details.

Globalization of Currency Formats

Currency Conversion API (Fixer.io)

Using an integrated currency conversion third-party API (https://fixer.io/) the currency conversion will be automatically done.

Google Tag Manager

Allows admin to manage all your website tags without having to edit codes. Use tag manager to add and update Google Ads, Google Analytics, Floodlight, and third-party tags.

Mobile Application Support

The system now supports dedicated mobile applications for learners (iOS and Android both), enabling them to access the platform features through their devices

Discussion Forum Module

Through the discussion forum module, users can view and post queries, view suggestions, get solutions from other users, and stay updated about relevant content using tags. This feature encourages social engagement and improves the platform's popularity.

Courses Management

This feature will allow the platform admin to enable/disable the courses module. The website's landing page will change automatically as per the choice made.

Homepage Management

The admin can now use the drag-and-drop capabilities included in the CMS area to control the order of content blocks on the homepage.

Enhancements

New Design for Blog Posts Section

With improvements in the list and content display, there is an interactive new design for the front-end Blog Posts section.

Admin Setting Re-Arrangement

For better classification, a few settings modules on the admin panel have been rearranged and placed among the matching modules.

Date and Time Format Updates

For better consistency, the display format of date and time has been updated.

Auto Deletion of Old Sent Emails

To reduce the load from the database, old system-sent emails are to be deleted automatically after 45 days.

User Redirection to Same Page Post Login

Users will now be able to resume their previous action and restore the provided details post-login. For example, a user has added filters for teachers, so after login, the filters will remain.

Multiple Alerts & Notifications Management

To keep the users updated on the discussion forum's activities, email and system notifications have been added.

UX/UI Improvements & Bug Fixes

The overall performance of the system has been improved via numerous UI/UX enhancements and bug fixes.

New Features

Lesson Subscription

The learners can subscribe to a tutor's lessons for a month. Post which the subscription will be charged from the learner's wallet. If enough money is not there in the wallet, the subscription will expire.

Group Class Package Management

This feature allows tutors to create a series of group classes (listed as a package). The same is available to learners for enrollment.

Theme Management

According to the brand's primary and secondary colors, the admin can manage the theme of emails and the platform. This eventually helps with the branding.

Bank Transfer Payment Gateway

The learners can now select Bank transfer as a mode of payment. The payment is done offline and on the basis of the receipt submitted by the learner, the admin marks the payment of the lesson as paid.

Inline Scheduling

The processing of an order has been simplified as learners can schedule lessons while booking a session. Besides, an availability calendar is also part of the booking process now. This facilitates learners to schedule more than one lesson at a time.

Enhancements

UI Upgrades

For better customer acquisition and engagement, the admin theme has been modified. Even the features have been categorized under the relevant menu.

Speed Increase

To increase the speed from the core, the code has been refactored. Now, more than 50,000 users can load in less than a second.

Admin Reports

Settlement reports have been added to view refunds, teacher payouts, and commission.

Learner Withdrawl Request from the Wallet

This feature enables learners to withdraw money from their wallets if sufficient funds are available.

Order Listing and Details in Admin and User Dashboards

Details regarding transactions, users, and time have been added to the order listing. Similarly, more details have been added to the admin dashboard for a summarized view.
